*Burns' promotional material for 2006 showed the Bison 64 as a 21-fret guitar! This was NOT supported by the accompanying photo, and I'd like to hear from anyone who has seen a 21-fret variant.

*Whilst first issued in 2007, serial numbers on the neckplates on early instruments tend to indicate an actual manufacture date in 2006.

**All of these 'second edition' Bison '64 guitars that I've seen have "Bison Series" stamped on the neckplate. So far as Burns and their distributors are concerned however, they remain in the Club Series. Confusing...?

***To differentiate this guitar from the 2005 Bison '64 model, a number of UK retailers advertise the instrument as the "Bison '64R", the 'R' signifying 'Rezo-tube'. This is NOT an official Burns designation.
