| *Some early models have a Bison-type neck
with the extra-large headstock.
However, these are not simply excess-stock Bison necks being used on the Batwing. The 12th-fret dots are differently positioned, and in any event, the "batwing headstock" Bisons (2001 onwards) have a 24¾ inch scale length. The intervals between the frets would be inappropriate for the 25½ inch-scale Batwing. |
