“The Last Confessions Of A Saboteur” is my eighteenth album release through Cherry Red Records!

Amongst many other contemporary and historical topics in this new twelve-song set for 2024, I’ve taken a glance at the tabloid press, cancel culture, and champagne socialism; and once again, given voice to my venerable – though nonetheless beautiful! – 1968 Harmony 12-string guitar!

As with all my previous Cherry Red releases, “The Last Confessions Of A Saboteur” is available for streaming, and for purchase from download sites around the world (including of course iTunes and the Amazons).

And, to accompany the new release, Cherry Red have issued “Chavasse” as the official video to complement the new album.

To provide a little context, World War One began on my father’s seventh birthday and Noel Chavasse died on father’s tenth birthday. This song tells the extraordinary and poignant story of Captain N. G. Chavasse of the Royal Army Medical Corps.

I hope you like it.

This is what reviewers said of Beau’s previous collections...

Of “Kingdom Of The Blind” (2023) – “In the kingdom of the blind, Beau is the one-eyed man…” Mike Davies – folking.com (UK)

Of “Al Killem’s Final Show” (2022) – “Gore Vidal said … the great problem with this country is that people now only have opinions not thoughts … Beau is a humble, secret antidote…” Brian R. Banks – MyRockNews (Netherlands)

Of “The Methadone Of Time” (2021) – “…give this guy a bull horn and drop him in the city square to keep the folks entertained (and get ’em all riled up, too). Mutiny never sounded so good.” Dagger Zine (USA)
