GUITAR TYPE 2

“Type 2” is my designation for this Supersound instrument. This is to differentiate it from the 1958 “Ike Isaacs Short Scale Model”, and also to give it some form of identity.

Serial numbers were impressed on the back of the guitar heads, but no model names were used.

The guitar is made from Pyrana Pine, and has an ultra-short 23 inch scale length. It is fitted with two Supersound GPU/01 pickups.

This rather nice instrument would date from 1959/60.
